As you can see, the entire hull and the house of the Sea Fisher has been sand blasted. The propellers have been removed as well and sent to the propeller shop to be repitched and balanced. Now a paint crew will apply a healthy coat of primer paint and the welding crew will weld new anodes on the hull. Anodes or zincs, protect the vessel from oxidation.

I knew it. You asked, what is oxidation? Well I will tell you. It is just a big word for rust. All those long things on the hull and the rudder are the new anodes. They will protect the Sea Fisher from rusting away. Also, if you didn’t notice, the ship yard crew remounted the propellers on the propeller shafts. Now the paint crew will finish the paint job.
